I have opened bank accounts in both Estonia and Russia and what may surprise most people is that my experience opening a bank account in Russia was more positive then in Estonia for many reasons. The staff were friendlier in Russia and I will also say quite beautiful, lower fees for foreign people at certain banks, such as Sberbank or Raffeissen, and a modern technologically based banking system that is actually ahead of many American banks in terms of innovation.

I personally left and while I am not completely parted from the system am half-way their and should be completely at that point within the next two years. Great video, one aspect that we really share in common is the focus on niche kind of businesses/enterprises which is really help today as many business areas become super saturated in select industries. Over time those niches businesses/enterprises can develop into much larger business offerings and be a much bigger enterprise. My dad has a friend from many many years back who now co-owns a company that grosses over 120 million dollars a year with his business partner which is based in Asia and initially this man began with a very niche focus and only concentrating on select products and slowly scaling out over time. There is more to this story which I can elaborate on at later time but one other interesting point about this guy is he does not put himself out their and many people on the street would never assume that he had a 9 figure net worth as he focuses more on the action and execution of his enterprise rather then a glamorous lifestyle this enterprise could bring him.   26. Great video here with very important points made and indeed no question redundancy is critical for people to help protect their assets, always best to have multiple banks with a percentage of your wealth in each bank with other back-up wealth storage, such as gold bars and crypto-currency.

  37. Great topic Andrew! I have many interesting personal stories on this topic that have happened with distant family members that "kept all their eggs in one basket". This was also a principle that my dad really emphasize to myself and brother and sisters while growing up, and to avoid this mindset at all costs. Back in 2018, I took a huge loss on a stock that I was holding when it tanked overnight, I was holding mid 5 figures in the stock which took a huge hit on my portfolio. Fortunately, I had a lot in savings which kept me still in decent condition but this experience was a huge learning lesson for me to this day and not just in the stock market but in all areas of my life. Like yourself I think people should always be prepared if governments want to come in and confiscates a person's wealth at any moment. Most people here likely know the famous story of Escobar and the massive quantities of cash that he had which would begin to rot at times because he did not hold any of it in traditional banks. When his family left Colombia, they only had about 100 or 200 K with them in cash, which would be a lot for most people but considering he was a billionaire was just a drop in the bucket. They did not have proper offshore accounts or trusts offshore which is why most of the wealth was lost when Escobar was assassinated. The lesson here is that at any moment even a billionaire who is on top of the world can be wiped out and essentially lose most of their money if they don't have the wealth sitting in different countries and banking institutions. As always learn something new from you Andrew everyday!

One part that really stuck with me in this Youtube video was the part that you mentioned about how a business owner should show how they value employees in certain countries is not necessarily in outright paying them more money but in making them feel valued and proud of the company that they work for which could be in providing more vacation days during the year. Also, I have read a couple chapters of the Dave Ramsey's book and really contains solid points for a newer or more experienced business tycoon.
