@SlurryNoises You must be kiding, you can't even pronounce, or spell the word aluminium correctly (it was a Frenchman who invented aluminium, which is how he spelled it). or pronounce the L in solder - Only 6 countries, the USA, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands still use Fahrenheit. The other 192 countries in the world use metric!

@Balthasar_Gelt463 funny how the Americans kept the language of their previous masters, you'd have thought they'd have come up with their own language. Although you do have to be intelligent to invent a language which probably explains why they didn't.

@veenders9793 oh do behave, you'll be telling me the Dutch invented the commando knife, and the SAS next. it's a well known fact, that after initial setbacks and a long period of guerrilla warfare, the British eventually prevailed in Africa. English is Spoken in England and also the Netherlands, but no Dutch is spoken in England - so it's plainly obvious who won.
