While ordinary Russian users can still access YouTube, there are important caveats: Many Russian users have reported that certain content is either censored by the Russian state or completely restricted, particularly material deemed critical of the Russian government or supportive of Ukraine. In some cases, videos related to anti-war protests in Russia or content exposing human rights abuses within Russia have been removed or made inaccessible.
