  3. I became a Democrat because in my senior year in high school some guys from the election office came and registered us. We were Democrats because in 1960's Georgia there was virtually no Republicans.Most Democrats were racists back then and fought civil rights like demons. My Aunt and Uncle from Michigan were real SJWs and Republicans. And FYI, the myth that the party flipped is not true. I know. I was there. Democrats did not change. They just allowed Black voters in because they saw opportunity.

I remember it as a beautiful state of wheat and fruit orchards which I'd never seen before. And factories that when you rode by smelled like Grandma's soup cooking on the stove.
