  1. My folks married in 1945 one week after he got back rom Europe in WW2. He had saved up most of his pay and they bought a little house. He went to college on the GI Bill. My brother and I had a great life compared to Mom and Dad who grew up in the Great Depression. Thank you Greatest Generation!
