This issue like all issues varies not with party but because of differing moral principles,ethics, medical knowledge,and frankly emotional maturity and common sense, income and life experiences. As someone for example like myself that has a background in working with healthcare/ social work and taught history I find kneejerk support of abortion in very inexperienced young and Democrat voters especially women who are remembering their youths when birth control was not readily available or ineffective, are the most supportive and emotional about the issue of abortion and prone to not understand the legal and health issues.
