If we enact higher tariffs on specific goods it levels the playing field and companies will return and build here. It is already happening. Five pharma, and at least two IT companies, and auto companies are headed here thanks to Trump's tariffs. Why? The USA is a much larger market than eg, Japan or the EU countries.
