This is a smart judge. He knows the rules of evidence in circumstancial cases which by the way is common in a lot of cases.
1
@MooseMaunu I am not impressed with his defense team. He'll appeal of course.
1
Ah, Demorats...in office or out they can figure more ways to diddle you out of your money or your drawers.

These killers amaze me. They think they are smart but get caught everytime. And this retrial was a joke. No woman would kill herself with antifreeze. They'd take pills, or jump off a bridge. Frankly I have no idea if antifreeze would be deadly or how much to take.

Old crook with no compunction against stealing from clients, forgery, and possibly murder of family for covering his crimes.
1
Maybe his sketchy cousin helped him
1
Just like the weirdo in Idaho that killed those kids.
1
These entitled shooters at police brought to you by "Democrats for Votes by Phony Grifting SJWs" living in their mansions in gated communities.

More likely a former no good client like cousin Eddie unless he did both. The boy was killed first and his poor wife likely as she ran. Plenty of time to grab another gun to make it look like two ambushers. He'd settled financially with the dead girl's family. No reason for them to kill the boy because he was being tried for the drunk boat drive. I'd like to see what life insurance Mom and the kid had.

Con artist.

Lol! Now get the little Facists out of our colleges

To know your baby had just been murdered by Dad. Horrific. I think he cleaned up at the kennel. He had a smug look on his face yesterday when his attorney was quizing the head investigator. That's why there's no blood in the house. And the Low Country of Ga and SC have plenty of water to hide guns.
1
What a fiend! I can't believe what kind of motivation leads you to kill your kid!
1
And the idea God will get him if the law doesn't. And He will.
1
Thrse rich men in small communities are a law unto themselves. Ever watch a Tennesse Williams movie or play or William Faulkner? Lol!
1
Bull! This con artist killed his family to save himself from prison on massive fraud charges.
1
Science is a bit*h when you're defending killers.
1
And that excuses murder? Daddy was out of his mind on drugs facing decades of time in jail from massive graft/ theft and was like most etitiled types probably blaming everybody but himself. He wanted his wife's Edisto property and she was leaving him, the boy was facing charges on the boat accident and he snapped or planned it in some lunatic idea it would help him with sympathy but either way there is very little evidence this was an outside job.
1
The odds of conviction against so powerful a man were high. But in the end his arrogance finally caught up with him. These old families are like petty kings.
1
This bum is not in prison yet!?
1
He's not responsible for his Daddy's sins. No one should be blamed for another crimes. No one's hands would be clean. Read international history. Humans are violent. That's why we laws, jails and moral codes.
