  1. Stadiums don't get nearly as much use as most buildings. It barely hosts any events nowadays. All of big events in Montreal go to the Bell Centre before Olympic Stadium. It's collecting dust and falling apart while bleeding money for the taxpayers. It needs to be torn down. The legacy of that stadium will always the unprecedented debt it thrusted upon Montreal as sad as it is.

  2. Montreal Olympic Stadium is one of the greatest examples of why overbuilding is never a good idea. People love to blame the Olympics for Montreal's. But my response to that is why was building such an unnecessary and overly complicated cable roof necessary? It wasn't. All Montreal needed to do was to build a normal stadium, and so much debt could've been avoided.
