  1. Fortunately, progress is being made in North America. Both Minneapolis-St. Paul and Atlanta have abolished parking minimums, Portland banned single-family zoning, Hoboken has become a model for North American traffic calming, and Jersey City has gone all-in on bike infrastructure. They even turned their main street into a pedestrian plaza. It gives me hope that these steps can be the start of a continent-wide transformation.

  2. This is a bit unrelated, but the location of New York at 6:07 is incorrect. New York is right across the Hudson River from Northern New Jersey. Not Lake Ontario. Idk if that can be edited after it's already been uploaded, but I just wanted to point that out.

  3. I dream of the day when North America finally embraces urbanism. Imagine if we converted car parking garages in NYC into art deco and brownstone bicycle parking garages with modernist murals. It would be a dream come true, an in American style.
