Even when it is happening, openly, right in front of their eyes, totally mask off, they’ll still find any excuse to explain it away because they’re unable to accept the fact it really is happening.

  2. America has always been a racist country. Jim Crow was not overturned into the late-60’s and interracial marriage was not legalized until 1973. The alt-right has never been able to let it go. Ever since America integrated, they’ve been trying to undo all of that progress. And the scars of all those decades of segregation and systemic racism are still being felt today. Trying to get America to finally let go of its racism and truly integrate is like pulling teeth. Never in my life have I ever a country more stubbornly racist and classist as the United States. Germany de-Nazified very quickly and even Japan, despite the pardons, de-militarized very quickly. Meanwhile, is still unwilling to let go of its racism 52 years since segregation ended. That is aggravatingly depressing.
