  1. There's another disturbing element to this. The return of manifest destiny. 1800's America was convinced that God had chosen America to conquer all of North America, and with the separation of Church and state under attack right now, it would not surprise me if this is "destroying the cartels" nonsense is just code for finishing what the original manifest destiny movement couldn't. Every Canadian should be worried about America interfering in Canada's elections to get Trump loyalists into Parliament next if he wins the election again.
