True Christianity is not organized religion, but an intimate relationship with God. Organized religion is legalism, which is the doctrine of the Pharisees, the ones who murdered Jesus.

@thatonemessyartist1760 But the Bible said that he made them man and woman, not infinite genders. And in Matthew 19, Jesus described marriage as the union of a man and a woman. I just don't see any Biblical evidence for the Bible supporting LGBT.

@ayoubali1082 Honestly, here in America, the general consensus I see is that Jesus is a republican. I rarely Christians here that aren't either passionately or straight up extremely 100% Right. It's ridiculous.

Love and approval are not one in the same thing. What makes someone homophobic is not whether they are affirming or not, but rather how they engage with the culture. Calling them pedoes and their sexuality a lifestyle is just ignorance. We must be slow to speak and quick to listen. Most of the Church today is just don't listen at all, quick to attempt to be right, and call anyone that isn't a conservative a heretic. That's the problem with the Church today.

In order for it to be "also," than that must mean that it does in fact condemn it. Are you disregarding the commands of the scriptures? Yes, the verses found in Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Romans, and Corinthians are mistranslations. And the story of Sodom and Gomorrah is about gang rape and inhospitality. However, in Matthew 19 when Jesus was asked if it is lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason, Jesus circles back and answer with a definition of what marriage is. And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” In other words, marriage is based on the uniqueness of man and woman.

@user-pp8ru6uu1s It's true that God creates everyone in His image, but when we betrayed God and brought sin into the world, that is also what brought disease, disorders, disabilities into the world etc. In other words, many of us are born perverted and sinful dispositions. They're inherited throughout humanity just like genetics. However, our worth is not determined by these things, because our worth and identity is in our Father. Being gay is not who someone is, it's how they are. Being gay is not a sin. Acting on it is.

God doesn't want anyone in Hell. It's why he sent Jesus to sacrifice himself for us and defeat death by rising again. It's proves that God loves everyone unconditionally and equally. Everyone has their own sins. The only way we go to Hell, by choosing to not follow Jesus.

@cpinkelman8807 Define a good person then. Is it a nice person that tells people what they want to hear, or is it someone who tells him the harsh truth and warns them of the consequences of their actions because love them and care for them and don't want them to go to hell. Which one? There's no in-between here.

@Rimikshi God created us with the free will to disobey Him because if we couldn't it'd be slavery and possessive love. But when we did disobey Him, we were all automatically destined for Hell. That's why God sent Jesus to take the punishment of our sins so that we didn't have to go there. Salvation is a free gift. Consider it a pre-prepared backup plan. You can't earn it because it's impossible to be perfect. The only way you go to Hell is by sending yourself there by choosing to reject Jesus.

Mackenzie Jade Sinning may be a part of life, but the whole point is to avoid sinning as much as possible. If you aren't committing ourselves to God's commandments, than you aren't a disciple because in that case, you've never repented. Also, Jesus described a marriage as between a man and a woman in Matthew 19.

Mackenzie Jade As I said before, the word "repent" literally means to turn away. God calls us to live righteous lives. It's what the Holy Spirit is for, so that we could be made new in Him. Asking for forgiveness and refusing to turn form your wicked ways is the equivalent of lying directly into God's face and expecting to just take it. Why would He forgive a dishonest repentance? If you disobey your parents, and you say you're sorry, and that will never do it again, yet continue to not change at all from before you asked for forgiveness, what reason do your parents have to forgive you? Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.” 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Matthew 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” James 4:7: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” 1 Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. " Luke 9:23: "Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me." Luke 14:27: "And whoever does not carry his cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple." My friend, truly repent of your wicked ways, for the kingdom is at hand, for you are not a disciple and were never saved. Jesus is returning very soon. Do not harden your hard, or the day will soon come where it'll be too late for you. Life is very short and tomorrow is never guaranteed.

And the satanic temple has openly declared that they will "fight to the death for LGBTQ rights." This is pretty straight forward here.

@NotDaveGahan I'm from the US. And I think that if he hold a liberal mindset of religion, we start to be looser with the laws and we don't stay true to them, which is bad, it's been showing. Here, if you take God's Word seriously and remain firm in it, you're viewed as an extremist. America doesn't take religion seriously. Most of the people here are just Churchgoers at best.
