Valve is a prime example of why the Supreme Court's ruling that companies are accountable to their shareholders was one of the most catastrophic mistakes this country has ever made.

@OsirusHandle That's still an extreme reaction by the court. Buying a company just to destroy your competition is conspiring to monopolize your industry. This is partly how the automobile took over. Car companies bought up the streetcar lines and tore them up so that everyone was forced to drive. They should've ruled that buying a company just to destroy is anti-competitive, but ruling that all companies are universally obligated to serve their investors like slaves is an idiotic ruling. It discourages pro-consumer practices and innovation.
