They're waving the Mexican flag to show pride in their ethnicity because MAGA is being antagonistic towards our southern ally, threatening them with invasion and tariffs, and racially profiling people of color as "poisoning the blood of our country" as legal migrants, undocumented migrants without criminal records, and dreamers are all getting detained by ICE. MAGA is lying when they're saying that it's just violent criminals. A dreamer was just detained in Florida and is now being deported, even though Trump pledged that he would fight for dreamers. You need to keep in mind that a lot of Mexican Americans still have family in Mexico that would be in danger of being killed in the crossfire of a US invasion.

  3. Patriotism is not blind loyalty to everything the country does. If protest is considered anti-American now, then you simply do not believe in free speech. Protest is what started the American Revolution.
