"They're not the majority, so their vote shouldn't count." That's not how democracies work.

Mail-in voting is opt-in. You can't receive a mail-in ballot unless you request one. And plus, people have schedules. If you're working on election day, it's likely that you won't make it the polls in time. It's simply way easier to just drop off your ballot in the mail box before heading to work.

You have to opt-in to receive a mail-in ballot, so yes, it's impossible to receive one unless you, the voter, request one.

It's amazing to me how all of you think this is proof that the election is rigged when Republicans are paranoid about mail-in ballots being fraudulent. This was probably a Trump supporter throwing out a bunch of "fraudulent votes" under the giese of keeping the election "fair."

Considering the fact that Republicans are paranoid about mail-in ballots being fraudulent, I think it's the opposite. I think we're going to see a lot of Republicans throwing out valid mail-in ballots under the giese of keeping the election "fair."

@jaredf6205 That's not true. You can still get ads from the opposite party trying to persuade you to vote against your party.

If you're convinced that it's impossible for your guy to lose unless it's rigged, then you don't believe in democracy. You only believe it's fair unless your guy wins.

@Cucumberflavoredmustard Ok, but still, why stand on line for hours when you can drop off your vote in a mailbox? It's just way more convenient that way.
