@skyecommander2169 I don't think the parent is to blame at all. Intersections have multiple directions of traffic, so it makes sense that would want to keep his eyes on his kids. If he looked to the left, some other lunatic could've came in from the right and still hit her anyway. Ultimately, it's the driver's responsibility to not drive wrecklesly. If that kid ran into the side of the car, she'd be fine, but the car ran into her, she'd likely die. The people piloting the multi-ton battering rams should have the shortest leashes.
