  1. This is why we cannot allow Puerto-Rico to become a state. If we become a state, it will be the same as surrendering to our oppressors. It will complete the total assimilation of our national identity and culture. There are already Americans who say, "you're not Puerto-Rican. You're an American." America doesn't see us a real ethnicity nor a real country. To them, we don't even exist anymore.
