What American is not is the ten square miles of sovereign territory called Washington DC and the Federal Government. American is the 50 states and the people within. It is also a large piece of the earth with many natural wonders.

The whole Trump indictment thing is an exercise in reverse psychology. People say it themselves and still don't see it for what it is. Out of your own mouths the more they go after him the more popular he becomes. Pretty much in line with the 1990 comic script THE WALL.

@Joaopereira-dh3dw the most natural system which is self governance in a world where all actions between people are voluntary actions. You can find him on YouTube for the links to his website site and the Liberator 2. In the days of the Abolitionist there was a Newspaper called the Liberator. Many Abolitionist weren't just against chattel slavery, they were also opposed to political slavery.
