Alcohol prohibition gave rise to the mafia and mass violence and it was a lesson that no one seemed to have learned. It's is illegality of drugs that causes all of the violence.

@HughJass-313 it would appear that you no concept whatsoever of self ownership. You would have fit in good on a plantation in the South because many of them believed they were in their proper role as slaves. Not my words , the words of Frederick Douglass who said he escaped chattel slavery only to find himself in political slavery.
