  12. It's the same exact mentality with haters. It's ok to have a bias towards a certain brand such as preferring M to AMG or a GTI to a WRX but if you consider the rival brand to be shit than you're not being objective. Like Tedward says a car's flaws can also make them great, maybe not what at you're looking for but still a well engineered car at what its trying to achieve.

  144. I think BMW fanboys who love the E39 M5 expect it to have more responsive steering & disappointed in the recirculating ball steering. I would expect the low profile tires & sport suspension to make the M5 not that desirable to drive long distance.

  169. When it comes to this issue there isn't one correct answer. One who buys a new car probably thinks of the smell, shine, warranty, latest and greatest safety/tech, peace of mind, no wear & tear, etc as the premium of the new car. One who buys a used car has to consider its worth, inspecting it prior to buying it, are there service records, the repairs will be paid out of pocket, how much of it feels archaic to today's standards, & that maintenance increases while worth & reliability decreases. This is actually the dilemma of post graduation goals because I'm considering of the peace of mind of a warranty and ease of financing of something like a CPO GTI or 3 series M sport or do I go all out & buy my obtainable dream car?

  180. I'm so glad you made this video because I'm envisioning on landing a job that has the potential to promote me to have a high level position that pays me enough to comfortably afford a GT3. However the jobs to get me to that point seem to have a shitty work-life balance. If that lifestyle isn't worth the trouble I would consider moving to a country that works to live but drive a lesser car.
