  1. Everyone needs to understand that according to the Taliban, what they said is true BECAUSE the Taliban doesn't consider women to be people. Notice the Taliban said "it's people" and "every Afghan." They actually don't consider women people. They literally liken women to animals. They think women are animals, and not people. That is why you can't argue with the Taliban and call them liars because, technically...they didn't lie. The Taliban knows that everyone else, does in fact, consider women to be people= equals, but they don't. The Taliban is wrong and horrible for thinking the way that they do, but that IS in fact how they think. Once folks understand this, then we will be better equipped to deal with their hatred.
