  1. It's an extrajudicial killing: he knew exactly what he was doing. Although their crimes are different, Stines has much in common with the likes of Kevin Menon, Jamey Noel, and Sean Grayson. None of them deserve to be in free society for differing lengths of time.

  2. ​@John-kv7jo True. Fwiw - and I'm aware it's a minority opinion - I'm against capital punishment in all cases, but doubt that prosecutors will push for it here. (Fwiw, only 2% of US counties are responsible for the great majority of DP cases.)
