I live on the northwest side of Chicago and shortly after George Floyd died from fentanyl and a heart attack I saw an article online about a group of people on the south side preparing to go downtown to protest his death. A young black woman addressing this group said that every morning when she wakes up she wonders if this will be the day she dies. Was she talking about being shot by a black gangbanger who routinely shoot other blacks? Obviously not. She was talking about being shot by a white cop who, according to the left, routinely shoot blacks all over the country simply for being black. Many now talk about the need for more police but no one wants to be a cop in cities like Chicago anymore due to the extreme danger they now face after being demonized as racist murderers by the left. And now after Memphis even black cops are condemned as anti-black racist terrorists. So now we have a totally unworkable society. This does not bode well for our future.

@RoyceBenning Nothing at all funny about the disastrous failure of the American experiment. I believe America has already ceased to exist as a country internally which is why it’s so rapidly unraveling externally. Only God knows what fate has in store for us as our fallen world slides ever closer to the abyss.

@grassfireu The philosopher Kant said “Out of the crooked timber of humanity, no straight thing was ever made.” Is our “timber” simply too “crooked” for humanity to survive? So many things in our world are so out of control that they’ve taken on a life of their own and have too much momentum to be stopped even though they are driving us to global catastrophe. More and more scientists say AGI will soon arrive, perhaps even by the end of the year. Many say AI growth needs to be stopped before we lose control of it. Can’t be stopped though because it has already taken on a life of its own with far too much momentum to be stopped plus I believe the only thing that can save us is AGI. Humanity is doomed without it. With it we at least have a good chance to survive. @Marcuswelby-nx2te He was high on fentanyl, had severely clogged arteries and was having a heart attack even while in the police car which is why he kept saying he couldn’t breathe even while there. Our ruling class and their media used his death to demonize white people in general and the police in particular. I believe they destroyed the social fabric of this society which is why it’s so rapidly unraveling. No doubt the disastrous failure of the American experiment has already drastically altered the course of world history.

You prefer the official narrative because it justifies your racial hatred of white people in general and the police in particular. The official narrative of AmeriKKKa being permeated with white racism though which is the “root cause” of black problems has destroyed our social fabric which makes America unable to function as a country. There will soon be a time when people like you deeply regret what you have done.

@Jleed989 We can no longer afford these periodically recurring collapses into insanity and war. The weapons are now too powerful to survive a truly global WW3 plus so many other things are out of control plus even Elon Musk says he’s concerned about the possibility of the super volcano under Yellowstone erupting and causing massive global destruction. We are at the mercy of Mother Nature and human nature. Both are quite often quite unreliable and extremely deadly. We spend our days dangling by a thread over the abyss. This is no way to live. I far prefer to take my chances with AGI which has already taken on a life of its own and has too much momentum to be stopped. And only AI has the power to gain control of our many out of control problems leading us to our doom. Follow Science and you will find Truth. Hope springs eternal.
