I live on the north side of Chicago and shortly after George Floyd died from fentanyl and a heart attack I saw an article online about a group of people on the south side preparing to go downtown to protest his death. A young black woman addressing this group said that every morning when she wakes up she wonders if this will be the day she dies. Was she talking about being shot by a black gangbanger who routinely shoot other blacks? Obviously not. She was talking about being shot by a white cop who, according to the left, routinely shoot blacks all over the country simply for being black. All mayoral candidates now talk about the need for more police but no one wants to be a cop in Chicago anymore due to the extreme danger they now face after being demonized as racist murderers by the left. And now even black cops are condemned as anti-black racist terrorists.   2. Last year I read “Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History” by S.C. Gwynne.” Fascinating book about about the US Army vs the Comanches. Also talked about the endless and often genocidal wars the Indians waged on each other and it was the same with the Aztecs in Mexico and the Incas in Peru. That’s why the oppressed Indian tribes in these places so hated these dominant tribes and helped the Europeans defeat them. The Woke say we need to teach children the truth about history. I totally agree. I’d love to see this book required reading in our high schools. It tells the truth without demonizing white people or casting Indians as saints who need to always consider themselves victims of the white devils. And Quanah Parker also had a white mother so if white people are devils that means this great Indian leader was half devil. Let’s teach history instead of racial hatred of white people which will only plunge us ever deeper into tribal warfare. Superb book though. Really fascinating history that I never knew.

This Real Clear Investigations article below from 2020 is about the “1619 Project” and what the author Nikole Hannah-Jones told the editors of the Chicago Tribune about its purpose which is, she said, to instill guilt in white liberals so they will support reparations for blacks. White liberals are not being targeted though. White children in our public schools are. And our Woke white leftist ruling class loves this and is totally supportive of it.   4. You’re confusing the left with the Woke left. Big difference. We’re not in a culture war of the left vs the right. We’re in a reality war of the Woke vs the nonWoke. Batya is an old style leftist like Bret Weinstein, Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi who are all leftists who are appalled by what a monstrosity the Woke left has become. Even Elon Musk said he used to be center left but then the left moved so far left that it makes him appear to be far right which many people think he is since that’s how the Woke left have labeled him. The Woke left traded class for race and called it Critical Race Theory or “Woke.” Still sees the world divided between oppressors, now white people, vs the oppressed, “people of color” in general and blacks in particular. Basically race based rather than class based Marxism or as Dave Rubin calls it “Woke Marxism!” which describes it perfectly. A much deadlier mutation of the deadly Marx “mind virus” as Elon Musk calls it.
