  1. I used to work with two Indian Muslims in Chicago from Gujarat where the terrible Hindu/Muslim riots occurred in 2002 while Modi was governor of the state. They hated Modi, Hindus and India. One once told me India has a border conflict with China, he hopes there’s war and hopes India is destroyed. I told the other one what his friend had said and asked him what he thought. He said he hopes there’s war and both India and China are destroyed. No denying we have a huge shortage of love for each other in our fallen world. Our whole world seems to be in a tailspin and I often wonder if humanity can survive. Perhaps AI will save us. We sure don’t seem capable of saving ourselves. Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI which just released ChatGPT, recently said it’s not AGI (self-aware AI) but “trust the exponential. flat looking backwards, vertical looking forwards.” Hope springs eternal.
