Chicago has 8,000 “migrants” bused here from Texas and we’re overwhelmed. If we’re overwhelmed by 8,000 what will we do with 80,000? Why do so many people vote for this and then act shocked when they get it? How can we ever again be a country when so many people can’t even understand the necessity of something as basic and essential as borders?

Many people believe that America is simply too big and too powerful to collapse but many people also believed that about the Soviet Union. No one in 1985 would have believed that the USSR, the mighty "Evil Empire,” would be a disintegrating mess in 5 years. I told that to someone last year who said "But the Soviet Union was a collection of separate countries.” What we have here though is a collection of separate realities which is a much deadlier situation.

I live on the northwest side of Chicago and was astonished to see that Vivek Ramaswamy is coming to Chicago for a Town Hall meeting on the south side where, as I’m sure he knows, most of these people voted for Brandon Johnson, a black, super Woke leftist totally committed to Sanctuary and to Equity. Trust is an essential ingredient for a functional society or even to be a country and we have none in our government or in each other. Could it be that the reason why America is so rapidly unraveling externally is because it no longer exists as a country internally? No doubt the disastrous failure of the American experiment has already drastically altered the course of world history.

Can’t be done. Too many are guilty of treason to punish them. There are too many of us though aware of the corruption to accept this. This then means we have a totally unworkable society which has already ceased to exist internally due to the lack of trust which makes cohesion impossible. Without an internal foundation the country will simply unravel externally which in fact is already happening.

@fractalign Gov Abbott bused them here to force the democrats to deal with the damage they’ve done to this country. I live in Chicago and totally approve of what he’s doing. Chicago is a Sanctuary City that claims to love illegals. So let Chicago deal with it for a change instead of border cities like El Paso.

@rodiculous9464 Indeed. There are many issues destroying our cities and country. Another is crime. Paul Vallas wanted more police. Johnson is Woke and believes that black wilding, carjacking and crime are caused by white racism, “systemic racism” which oppresses blacks. His solution is Equity aka Equal Outcomes. He plans to transfer wealth from the north side to the south side which will turn Chicago into another Detroit where all are equally poor. And another is education. Dave Rubin recently showed a clip of Johnson from 2018 where he talked about what he did as a teacher which was pretty much nothing. He said he never gave any test prep, rarely gave any homework and never failed anyone. So what did his students learn? Nothing but at least they’re all equally illiterate. This is just not working at all. Does America even still exist as a country?

@optionant5963 I believe America has already ceased to exist internally which is why it’s so rapidly unraveling externally. Their open southern border for the sake of political gain is already causing severe strain all over the country and it’s going to get far worse. The democrats have already lost control of the monster they’ve created and this is only one area they’ve ruined. There are many others. An impossible situation. This is just not working at all.
