Vivek is not at all dependent on corporate money. Vivek is great. Like a breath of fresh air in a suffocatingly stagnant society. Voted for Trump twice but this time it’s Vivek for 2024.

@gzales158 RFK supports affirmative action though which Vivek is totally opposed to. I saw a Townhall meeting where Vivek was asked what he would do on his first day in office. He said he would issue an Executive Order banning race based affirmative action. That’s exactly the opposite of what Biden did on his first day in office which was to issue an Executive Order to replace meritocracy wherever it could be found with Equity aka Equal Outcomes. These are polar opposites and irreconcilable differences. I see no common ground here. This is already a major reason why Vivek is hated by the democrats who believe in race based socialism, a sure recipe for tribal warfare.

I used to work with a Mexican who came here illegally around 1980. Married a Mexican-American woman and became a citizen. Great guy. Still married, hard working, traditional values. Totally committed to Trump because he was terrified of America becoming as lawless and corrupt as Mexico. I’m retired but worked (CNC machinery) in Chicago with mostly immigrants from all over the world. The Vietnamese were very much in favor of Trump as were the Assyrians from Iraq and even most of the Mexicans because they did not like how far left the democrats were.

@gzales158 I’m sure that Vivek and RFK would have a civil debate but that doesn’t change the fact that meritocracy and equity are irreconcilable differences. Equity is basically a war on standards and standards are the essence of civilization. In effect then, equity is a war on civilization itself. Basically a war on sanity by the insane. Yet from the Woke point of view it’s a fight for “social justice” and has many supporters since it does sound wonderful. This is a divide that goes all the way down to the core of our being and how we perceive the world, how we perceive Goodness and Truth. The Woke value “Goodness” which they see as equity. The nonWoke value “Truth” which they see as dealing with objective reality as it is.
