  1. Same thing is happening with the police in cities like Chicago where crime is surging and cops are abandoning police work due to the lack of support and the danger. How would you like to be a cop on the south side of Chicago?

  2. America no longer exists as a country. A society needs at least some degree of trust for cohesion. We have totally lost this essential ingredient for a functional society. No society so devoid of trust and so full of hate can survive as a nation. God only knows where we’ll all end up as our once great nation unravels and collapses.

  3. We lack a common reality, have become incomprehensible to each other and can no longer communicate. Where is the common ground in such an infinitely wide divide? There obviously is none. Many people believe that America is simply too big and too powerful to collapse but many people also believed that about the Soviet Union. No one in 1985 would have believed that the USSR, the mighty "Evil Empire,” would be a disintegrating mess in 5 years. I told that to someone last year who said "But the Soviet Union was a collection of separate countries.” What we have here though is a collection of separate realities which is a much deadlier situation.

There’s nothing “baseless” about our open southern border, our dumbed down schools which poison children with CRT and LGBTQIA+ or about the surging and out of control crime in cities like Chicago where I live. Once I was a Marine and a patriotic American but that was when America was still a country. Those days are long gone and will never return. No doubt this has already drastically altered the course of world history.

  5. I have lost trust in the country which no longer exists as a country. If you want to see what civilizational collapse looks like follow Chicago or any democratic run city where it’s already happening.
