  3. The philosopher Kant said “Out of the crooked timber of humanity, no straight thing was ever made.” Is our “timber” simply too “crooked” for humanity to survive? So many things in our world are so out of control that they’ve taken on a life of their own and have too much momentum to be stopped even though they are driving us to global catastrophe. More and more scientists say AGI will soon arrive, perhaps even by the end of the year. Many say AI growth needs to be stopped before we lose control of it. Can’t be stopped though because it has already taken on a life of its own with far too much momentum to be stopped plus I believe the only thing that can save us is AGI. Humanity is doomed without it. With it we at least have a good chance to survive.
