Once I was a Marine and a patriotic American. Now I despise this rotting place of lies. We intensely hate and totally distrust each other. The idea that this is still a country is absurd. Does the world know that America is rotting and disintegrating? Sure they do. They see it online just as easily as we do. How could they possibly not know it?

The question is though, is America even still governable or even still a country? I have no doubt the democrats would love to do to me what they did to the QAnon Shaman (prison) or to Ashli Babbitt (murder) at the Jan 6 Capitol rally in 2021. Why wasn’t the black man who drove his SUV into the Waukesha Christmas parade to kill as many white people, including children, as possible charged with a hate crime? Because he was black, that’s why. And I’m supposed to believe white people have “privilege”? Where was their privilege as they were being mowed down by a black man who hated white people? America is a dead and rotting place of lies. It has already ceased to exist as a country internally which is why it’s so rapidly unraveling externally. No doubt the disastrous failure of the American experiment has already drastically altered the course of world history.

We lack a common reality, have become incomprehensible to each other and can no longer communicate. Where is the common ground in such an infinitely wide divide? There obviously is none. This can only get worse and is getting worse by the day. Many people believe that America is simply too big and too powerful to collapse but many people also believed that about the Soviet Union. No one in 1985 would have believed that the USSR, the mighty "Evil Empire,” would be a disintegrating mess in 5 years. I told that to someone last year who said "But the Soviet Union was a collection of separate countries.” What we have here though is a collection of separate realities which is a much deadlier situation.

Vivek has a book called “Woke, Inc.” which is all about what Woke is. Dave Rubin, Glenn Greenwald, Kim Iversen, Tulsi Gabbard and many others could very easily say what it means. I recently watched a video of Tulsi Gabbard who said the democrats are “insane,” a video of Dave Rubin who said the democrats are “evil,” a video of Bret Weinstein who said the democrats have merged with big business and become “fascists,” and a video of Batya Ungar-Sargon who said the democrats have sold out the working class and done great damage with their open southern border. Why doesn’t Vice interview people like this to see why they have such a negative opinion of democrats?

@Jaffjv A country needs secure borders to exist. It’s not always necessary to have a wall for that but in some cases, such as Israel, it is indeed necessary. Gays say they won the culture war with their gay marriage victory but it was a Pyrrhic victory since it had a devastating effect on them. Gay marriage legally abolished gender which enabled the trans activists supported by the Woke democrats and their media to get into the public schools and start promoting it to children. Effeminate boys and tomboy girls are now told they have the wrong body for their brain so they need to switch genders to put body and brain in alignment. Almost all of those children though would have grown up to be gay or lesbian or simply a tomboy straight woman who likes doing male activities. Parents also have a very hard time fighting this since it’s so strongly supported by the schools, the government and the culture. Evil times we live in. No denying that.

And this man is now the mayor of a major American city and admired by the democrats for being “progressive.” Chicago is being overwhelmed by “migrants” aka illegals. Johnson is already calling for more money to take care of them. I was listening to video of him yesterday and he basically said he wants these “brown” people here so they can join with blacks to fight oppression by whites. This is just not working at all.
