The south side has not been ‘under resourced, under funded for years, for decades.’ The south side is impoverished due to black crime, not white racism. The crime causes the poverty, not the poverty causing the crime. When big stores like Walmart pull out of these areas it’s always blamed on white racism rather than the constant shoplifting in the stores. I have often seen stories of even small black businesses being forced out due to constantly being robbed. Time for blacks to take responsibility for their own behavior rather than just always blaming whitey.

@wendyhouston3485 I’m retired but worked for many years with mostly (legal) immigrants from all over the world in Chicago. All of them were appalled by black behavior. Blacks need to change instead of just endlessly blaming white racism aka “systemic racism” which is supposedly everywhere at all times in AmeriKKKa. Does America even still exist as a country? A society needs at least some degree of trust and cohesion to be a country. Where’s ours?
