So why does this daily reporting on “migrants” never ask why we have an open southern border? How can we function as a country if we can’t even maintain something as basic and essential as secure borders?

@Cosmos_Mariner Never more severely fragmented than it is now. We lack a common reality among huge sections which means we are no longer a functional society and probably no longer even a country. This is just not working at all.

It’s hard not to notice that the people who voted for this are the same people who say Jan 6 was an “Insurrection!” and that Biden legitimately won the 2020 presidential election. We basically lack a common reality with these people. So now what? This does not bode well for our future.

They can actually even vote as illegals. I recently renewed my driver’s license in Chicago and was asked if I’d also like to register to vote. I said I already was registered but then checked later what I’d need to get a driver’s license in Illinois so I could also register to vote. All I’d need is verification of name, birthdate, and Illinois residency. I am quite sure it’d be very easy to get fake verification for those skimpy items. Our elections are a farce. This is just not working at all.

Just now watched a short video of Vivek Ramaswamy saying that our open southern border is a blatant abdication of the rule of law. So why doesn’t the reporting on the flood of “migrants” mention that? Excellent article below from City Journal that was on Real Clear Politics a couple of days ago about Covid masks. This is truly awful. Trust is as essential as borders for a functional society and ours is vanishing due to things like this. This is being done quite intentionally by the democrats for the sake of political gain but they’re now panicking because they’re realizing they’ve lost control of the monster they created. This is severe damage inflicted on America by democrats who are doing it to gain the numbers to achieve permanent control of the country. They are not going to be able to control a country that is simply ungovernable though. They are now beginning to realize that. God only knows where we’ll all end up.
