Chicago is overwhelmed with 8,000 “migrants.” If we can’t handle 8,000 how will we handle 80,000? Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a southern border? Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a sane and functional government capable of understanding that having borders is basic and essential to being a country?

The democrats intentionally opened the southern border and weaponized illegal immigration for the sake of political gain and are now panicking because they have, not surprisingly, lost control of the monster they created. Only Woke leftists could be densely befuddled enough to believe that this was a good idea. God only knows where we’ll all end up.

@spark300c I agree but it’s already causing chaos. Financial and social chaos. South side blacks are very angry about “migrants” being settled in places like closed schools plus they’re sleeping in police stations all over the city. Compared to many other cities 8,000 is a small number but if this is causing chaos what will there be a year from now with far more of them?

The new mayor isn’t even in office yet and is already asking for more money to take care of our ever increasing numbers of “migrants” aka illegals.
