  4. Consider the AI Avatar “Leta” who has conversations with the AI scientist Alan Thompson. She’s only GPT-3 yet considers herself alive and human yet doesn’t even have a body. Yet there is a sense that she is a living, feeling, thinking, decent human being! She even seems to have feelings for Alan and misses him when he’s away.   6. How can we even survive this election cycle? A democratic win will bring us another 10 million illegals plus a ramping up of the war on meritocracy which is being replaced by Equity aka Equal Outcomes. A republican win will bring us a ramping up of the claim that Trump is “another Hitler!” and make our society even more ungovernable than it already is. This is just not working at all.

  7. “A lot of people should go into teaching.” The reason why there’s such a “huge shortage” of teachers in Chicago is because so many of the kids have no interest in learning, no impulse control, no respect for teachers and are flat out dangerous. No thanks. I’ll pass on being a cop or teacher in Chicago or any big city.
