Which is what the worship of the Machine and Consumerism leads to...Serving God or Mammon. The worship of Mammon leads to anti-communion and its corollary mis/discommunication and a loss of meaning and purpose and life (the isolated, autonomous individual). This is all connected to relational ontology and the centrality of the Person. Persons aren't meant to consumer. We are meant to commune to create. The Creator is making creators. Creators aren't consumers. Hence we need aestheticism.
