  1. High school should be a general liberal arts education. It always was before modern public education. Check out classical ed. That’s what we had for most of Western civilization before the 20th century. The trivium: grammar, logic, rhetoric (poetic). Reading classics. History, philosophy, literature. This should be done in K-12. Secondary education should be specialized training.
