  21. I have a 2 bed apartment which I rent out. I paid for the apartment with my NHS pension lump sum payout plus my savings. I worked for the NHS for 43 years. I give an otherwise homeless couple a place to live as they cannot afford a cash deposit towards their own mortgage. Why am I a scrounger?? To me scroungers are those people who have never worked in their lives and never intend to do so. They suck off the hard working taxpayers. So please, have a bit of respect for landlords. We are not all as wealthy as you may think.
