  1. The weather in the UK is crap. Train fares as you say are ridiculous. Roads are full of potholes, speed bumps and heavy traffic. Beaches look more like mudflats. Drugged out zombies begging on street corners. Shopfronts boarded up and adorned with graffiti. Yes, book me a flight to Ibiza please.
