  1. The cartels are making huge sums of money I agree. However, what is wrong with our society when so many of our citizens have the need for drugs. Nobody forces someone to consume drugs. They know the risks but still dice with death. Society needs a total rethink. Drugs are here and we need to accept that. Legalisation and controlled use may be the only answer. By making drug use illegal only benefit the cartels and other crime networks. Why not legalise and receive tax dollars instead of enriching the drug barons.
