This Western backed coup (regime change) has now spawned a new cold war between Russia and Nato..Crimea's majority of citizens (97%)voted to be annexed by Russia mainly as a protection against the anti-Russian forces within Ukraine's new leadership. Thanks in part to the ongoing conflict in the Donbas region of Ukraine certain Western actors are arming Ukrainian forces with modern armaments. Any nuclear capable or any other missile supplied by outside actors stationed within Ukraine is Russia's red line in the sand - hence Russia's military buildup on its border with Ukraine. It is a warning to Ukraine and to Nato that Russia's red line must not be crossed.
