  1. My wife was a TB nurse specialist for fourteen years. I know TB is bacterial and not viral. However, she wore a mask every time she was with TB patients. She has never caught TB during those fourteen years. Do masks protect? In my opinion yes they do. Touch wood I have not yet caught covid and I refuse to be vaccinated. I always wear a mask in public unlike the majority.
