What is madness is when Ukrainian troops bombed their own citizens (Russian speaking separatists) in the Luhansk and Donbas regions of Ukraine following the violent overthrow of the legitimate government in 2014 (Maiden revolution). In turn provoking Russia to come to the aid of their Russian counterparts in these two regions. Also, NATO rescinded on their word not to expand eastwards towards Russia's borders. There is more here than just the western narrative..
