  1. Maybe I am the odd one out here. I agree with the return of National Service. With Russia attacking its neighbour and China building up its military capabilities it makes sense to prepare for the unknown. However, I disagree with Sunak's idea of those who refuse being forced to work one weekend every month within the community or be sanctioned. It should be on a voluntary basis. A bit of discipline within a military setting may do wonders for a person's self esteem. I served 5 years in the army and it straightened me out when I was heading towards a slippery slope of hopelessness.
