  1. It is a crisis made up of Japan's own prejudices. Only 2% of Japan's population is made up of foreigners. As an example, to apply for a health care job in Japan you need to be fluent in the Japanese language. Mass immigration is the only solution to Japan's demographic time bomb but the average Japanese baulk at the thought. Apartheid seems to flourish in today's Japan.
