  1. Why in the west are we so selfish to our elderly parents and grandparents?? In many communities around the world it is the younger generation who care for their elderly relatives. Look at the economic migrants flooding Europe and the States. They risk their lives to escape poverty, persecution or war. If they manage to find work on the black market what do they do. They themselves live on a pittance and send the bulk of their earnings back home to support their families. You can either love or hate migrants but in a way I respect them for risking everything to support their own. Maybe we can learn a thing or too from these people.
