You would say anything the audience wanted to hear if you were coerced. These Russian soldiers in uniform were only obliged to give their military number, rank and name. This is enshrined within the Geneva Convention. How do we know, behind the scenes, they were not threatened if they did not reveal all? They are soldiers, doing the duty their commanding officers ordered them to do. Are they the scum of the earth? What of the US military killing civilians in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya and elsewhere. What is the difference? Is it more important in Ukraine because they look 'European' like us while the spilled blood of hundreds of thousands of Arabs don't count?
