Demographics? The baby boomer generation has driven the economy upwards and onwards since the 1950's. Now retiring in the millions and being in the 70 plus age group their time is nearly up. What happens to their assets? In most cases their wealth will be inherited by their children (those now in their late 30's and early 40's) who have less children than their parents. The younger generation of today will inherit their assets. With asset prices as they are I feel a comfortable retirement is possible for this generation in the coming years and disagree with all the doom and gloom.
