  1. It saddens me when unarmed Israeli civilians are unmercifully killed. However, on the other side of the coin the same is true of the killing of Palestinian civilians. Seventy years of conflict and still no resolution. How would you react to this scenario? You and 2 million others are caged in an area of 365 square kilometres. You are denied freedom, to work outside your walled city you queue for hours at military checkpoints. Periodically, military snatch squads raid your home abducting family members, children shot dead for throwing rocks. Fighter jets roaring overhead, missiles destroying neighbourhoods, fishermen killed because their boats venture too far from Gaza's shoreline. The list goes on. Is peace possible now?? Until one treats their enemy as one would treat themselves then the answer is no.
