What I do not understand is why Israel is attacking Syria. Was it not the Syrian military with the aid of Russia which thwarted ISIS from taking over the country. If it was not for President Assad and Mr Putin Syria would now be an Islamic State on the border of Israel. Iran is a sovereign nation and it was requested by Syria for military assistance during the ISIS state of terror. What is the difference between Israel receiving military aid from the USA, UK and others but Syria is vilified when they do?? Double standards all round.
